We are delighted to announce the launch of our new podcast, “Lessons in Leadership” featuring our own Gillian Morley and Lisa Peach, Group Head of OD and Leadership at the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust. In a series of discussions, Lisa and Gillian will be looking at a number of key issues for Leaders and those who aspire to lead in the future. Focus on your Strengths
When you get to a point where you’re thinking you need some help to progress, either in your career or in your life in general, a coach may be able to help. But while you consider whether coaching is the right thing for you, here are a few points to consider: • Concentrate on what you’re good at, as well as the things you want to improve or develop. The most talented natural athletes, creative thinkers, musicians and craft workers will become run of the mill performers in time, unless those innate abilities are honed, sharpened and put to use • Early on in your career, as in life, you need to try things out and show you’re capable across a range of activities as you become established but sooner or later it’s good to identify your strengths so that you can look for opportunities and organisations in which you…
