Our Coaches – Gillian Morley
Gillian enjoys working with her coaching clients to help them discover, define and achieve the goals and ambitions that are right for them. She works by enabling her clients to focus on what they really want and gain clarity about what to do to attain their objectives.
“At some points in our lives, we all need to put some work into taking stock and understanding how to achieve the best we can in all parts of our lives. I can help and support you in doing this and getting to where you want to be.”
Gillian has over 25 years’ experience of working with a cross section of individuals and organisations to help them achieve the results they want and need.
She is a well versed Change Manager, Leadership and Team Developer as well as a Coach. After an early career in the Civil Service, she has worked throughout the UK, the US, Europe and South Africa as a Consultant and Advisor with blue chip businesses, SME’s and not for profit organisations. These include BP, Experian, The Met Office, T-Mobile and the Church of England.
She has worked with individuals at all stages in their life/work cycle to gain promotion, improve their performance and with senior staff and board members to optimise their contribution to their workplace. Gillian is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council UK.
Outside of work, Gillian has been a school governor, a Non-Executive Director to a major arts festival as well as being a bereavement care supporter with CRUSE, the national bereavement charity. She loves to socialise, reads a lot, runs a local book club and is trying to complete her first novel.
“I listen, reflect back and ask questions; sometimes, if we haven’t been asked certain questions before, we’ve not bothered to address the issues!
By looking at where we are now, how that feels, and how the multiple areas of life work together, it’s possible to sharpen focus and hone in on things that can make a difference. It’s about planning and action as well as reflecting and I’ll help you along the way. It may not be easy, but it will be stimulating and rewarding.”
